All teachers within the Diocese participate in the child protection program, VIRTUS, which ensures a safe environment for children within the community of the Church.
School Safety Programs
All teachers/staff receive state and Diocesan approved background and fingerprint checks; all schools adhere to detailed and well supervised drop-off and pick-up procedures.
State Health Programs
All schools adhere to state health regulations.
Crisis Management Plans
All schools are required to have safety plans in place for emergency situations.
Schools provide training for both students and parents in Internet safety issues. Schools are required to utilize Internet Acceptable Use Policies stipulating the appropriate use of the Internet.
