Interested in becoming Catholic?

Are you curious about the Catholic faith?

Want to learn more about what Catholics believe?

Interested in “trying out” a Catholic Church service?

Considering becoming Catholic yourself?

We welcome you and we know you must have many questions! We also believe that the Holy Spirit is leading you and will continue to accompany you as you search, inquire, and learn more about faith in Jesus Christ.

Each of our Catholic Churches is prepared to welcome and support you on this journey. If you need help finding a Catholic Church near you, you can check out this website, our diocesan map of churches, or contact us for assistance.

When you attend or call the church, tell them that you are interested in meeting with someone about the Catholic faith. You may be connected to the church pastor, a deacon, or another person who works in ministry at the church. Feel free to be open and clear about what you are seeking and if you have questions or concerns. This will help us serve you better.

“Becoming Catholic” is a journey of conversion that includes personal prayer, community participation, learning about the faith, participating in service and growing in your own relationship with God. Each person’s journey is unique, and the parish will support you during your process. For some who are already baptized it may take only months. For others, it may take a couple of years.

All of us are learning and growing in our faith. As Catholics, we strive to live out the promises made at our Baptism which we reaffirm each time we gather as a community at Mass in prayer together. We hope that you will join us!
