Christ the King Catholic School in Norfolk, VA seeks a full time Business Manager.
The Business Manager oversees all financial activities in accordance with federal and state regulations and diocesan policies and guidelines to include reporting, preparing and monitoring budget processes. All banking and reconciliation fall within the scope of the Business Manager. This position is responsible for HR processes such as payroll, benefit and leave administration, administrative appraisals and the direct operation of the office.
Qualifications are a a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a Business Manager/Finance Director role. Computer competency; Microsoft Office proficiency; database experience; familiarity with the Mission of the Catholic Church; strong time management skills and the ability to set priorities and work independently; knowledge of accounting practices and human resources; ability to maintain confidentiality; strong customer service and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Degree in accounting, finance or the equivalent; experience with KRONOS, ParishSoft, FACTS or comparable database, familiarity with school grant and aid databases.
