Please join the Office for Black Catholics (OBC) and the Office of Social Ministries (OSM) for our monthly “Rosary for Racial Justice and Reconciliation”. OBC and OSM will be hosting these monthly rosaries throughout 2018. This rosary is meant to aid in our efforts toward racial harmony through prayer, the first step in addressing and eliminating the sin of racism that wounds the family of God. Joining us will be an ethicist and physician from Bon Secours Richmond Health System. The speakers will discuss issues that often arise with advanced care planning such as: What is the difference between ordinary versus extraordinary care? What should I consider when creating an Advance Medical Directive or attaining a health care proxy? How do I maintain the integrity of my Catholic faith when making these decisions?
