As we begin the 2021-2022 school year, Bishop Barry Knestout and Superintendent Kelly Lazzara reflect on the many challenges we have faced together over the past 18 months. They express their appreciation to staff, students and families for their devotion to Catholic education and share their excitement for the new school year.
Our schools very successfully navigated being open 5 days a week for the past two school years during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was possible because of the hard work and dedication of our school administrators, faculty, staff, students, and parents.
It is time now to look ahead to the 2022-2023 school year. We are committed to having our teachers and students in a safe and supportive environment to enhance their academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development. We are grateful for our school administrators, leadership teams, faculty and advisory boards as they make their final preparations for the opening of school. We are thankful for all our parents and students for supporting their schools and for their commitment to Catholic education.
