Mentor Program

The Office of Christian Formation is pleased to offer the Mentoring Program to new catechetical leaders in our diocese as they begin in parish ministry. After an initial meeting with a member or our staff, a new leader will be provided an opportunity to receive a Mentor.

The Mentor Program was established in 2016. The Mentors were selected and trained and provided guidelines and support for their new role.

Those participating in the program are expected to meet either in person or by phone or video about every-other-month. They will read Principled Ministry: A Guidebook for Catholic Church Leaders (Sofield and Juliano) together and discuss the content, as well as particular questions and needs, at each meeting.
