Funding for this grant comes from Respect Life Collection, held at parishes in the Diocese of Richmond. We encourage parishes, schools, campus ministries, and other diocesan entities to apply if you have a qualifying project.

General Description

The Diocesan Respect Life Fund is made possible by the annual Respect Life Collection, held at parishes in the Diocese of Richmond since 1975. The Respect Life Fund supports activities that protect and promote the dignity of human life from conception to natural death.

Grants are made each year to Catholic Parishes and Catholic organizations to support Respect Life activities throughout the Diocese. The parish or Catholic organization must be directly involved in the activities or work being supported. All Diocesan Respect Life Funds must be used during the calendar year for which the grant was approved. Funds do not carry over into the next calendar year.
