Saint Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a full-time, Youth Minister who loves working with young people. The person in this position will work as a team with our other youth minister to grow and develop our middle school and high school youth by leading them closer to Christ.

Description:
The successful candidate will collaborate with another youth minister to foster growth and development among our middle and high school youth, guiding them closer to Christ. This role involves creative efforts to form intentional Disciples of Christ within our parish community, focusing on both high school and middle school groups. Additionally, the position encompasses the oversight of young adult networking opportunities, working closely with our Evangelization Team.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with another youth minister to lead middle and high school youth closer to Christ.
– Creatively and energetically help form intentional Disciples of Christ.
– Oversee young adult networking opportunities.
– Work as part of the Evangelization Team.

Requirements:
– Excellent leadership qualities.
– Strong communication and organizational skills.
– Proficient in social media and technology.
– Ability to coordinate, train, and empower volunteers.
– Team player.
– Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Religious Education, Catholic Studies, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in the field will also be considered.
– Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the church.
