St. Pius X Catholic School (Norfolk, VA) has an opening for a Classroom Aide for the 2024-2025 school year.

The position of classroom aide will include, but will not be limited to, the following: conduct her/himself in accordance with the philosophy and mission of St. Pius X Catholic School,  follow the policies of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, assist the classroom teacher, enhance the teacher’s curriculum and preparation of the curriculum, clearly understand the expectations of the teacher, reinforce all teacher-directed classroom behavior management, and support instruction for each student in the class.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience working with children of different age groups is required.
• Computer literate and technologically proficient.
• Highly organized and motivated.

Start Date: 2024-2025 School Year (10-month contract beginning August 2024)
