The Peninsula Cluster Parishes have an opening for a Director of Music for two of its parishes, St. Joseph and St. Mary Star of the Sea (3.5 miles apart).

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in music performance is preferred, or equivalent professional qualifications/experience. Prior experience in music ministry direction is also preferred. Communication, collaboration, organization and planning skills, along with a working knowledge of Catholic doctrine and liturgy, is required.

There are two loyal and dedicated choirs and numerous cantors who regularly volunteer their time and talents among the two parishes; and friendly and helpful office volunteers who are happy to assist with administrative/printing/bulletin insert tasks.
