Head Swim Coach at Head Swim Coach (Newport News)

Peninsula Catholic High School is currently accepting applications for a Head Swim Coach.  This is a stipend position. Candidates should demonstrate swim coaching success; excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills; possess a strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes; and the ability to act as a mentor to all Peninsula Catholic student-athletes.

The Head Swim Coach is responsible for the direction and operation of all phases of the swim program in accordance with Peninsula Catholic High School, the Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools, and VISAA regulations.  Position duties include, but are not limited to:  Scheduling; individual instruction/player improvement; organizing and directing individual/small group practice activities, instructing/teaching student-athletes in the rules, regulations, and techniques of soccer.

Minimum qualifications:  Successful swim coaching experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications: Swim Coaching experience is required.
