Planning a Visit

Come and learn about the roots of Virginia’s Catholic culture and tradition by reserving a guided tour for your parish group, social organization or school students.

Museum Hours 

Visiting the Museum: The Museum of Virginia Catholic History is open to the public by appointment only.

Tours of the Cathedral and the Museum are offered on weekdays and on weekends when there are no scheduled events at the Cathedral.   For walk-in visitors, there are informational displays located in the Cathedral’s vestibule and side aisles that illustrate the early history of the Cathedral. These displays are available to view when the church is open.

Visiting the Cathedral: The church is open to walk-in visitors Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm, Saturdays 3:30pm to 6:00pm, Sundays 9:00am to 6:00pm unless there is a special event or service scheduled.
