Saint Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg has an opportunity for a full time Associate Director of Liturgy.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology or Liturgy or equivalent education and/or experience.

Requirements include knowledge of Catholic Church liturgical documents, strong leadership, communication and organizational skills as well as excellent computer skills.  Applicant must be a practicing Catholic in good standing.  Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and within the norms of the Diocese of Richmond

As one of the largest parishes in the Diocese, the Associate Director of Liturgy will be working as a team member within the Office of Liturgy and Music. Responsibilities include coordinating principal liturgical celebrations; maintaining vestments and liturgical supplies; administering  funeral preparations; recruiting, training, supervising and assisting liturgical volunteers; producing seasonal worship aids; composing the Universal Prayers; using Ministry Scheduler Pro and One License Software; and attending one Sunday liturgy per weekend to observe, monitor and assist.
