Full-Time Instructional Coordinator @ Saint Bridget Catholic School (Richmond)

Saint Bridget Catholic School in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time Instructional Coordinator for the 2024-25 school year.

The Instructional Coordinator is a contributing member of the school leadership team who provides leadership to teachers and support staff that impact student achievement. The Instructional Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs to ensure the highest quality of instruction. This individual will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to enhance teaching methods, facilitate professional development, and promote student success. This work includes supporting teachers in developing and implementing student-engaged assessment practices, instructional experiences that foster disciplinary and transdisciplinary impacts, customizing the curriculum to meet student needs in a way that is responsive and inclusive of the whole child, utilizing technology to leverage instruction, personalize learning, and promote student agency.

This specific role requires a strong knowledge of instructional classroom strategies, student academic assessment, remediation activities/strategies, and data use, analysis, and interpretation. Additionally, successful candidates will also meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a valid Virginia Teaching License
  • Master’s degree preferred in Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful experience with classroom instruction, testing, tutoring, and/or remediation services

Successful candidates will also possess a strong commitment to Catholic education, superior communication skills both written and spoken, superior interpersonal, organizational, and managerial skills, enthusiasm, a positive attitude, flexibility, and are hardworking, collaborative team players.

This is a full-time, 10-month position (Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:30, mid-August through mid-June).
