[post_content] => We are seeking an experienced youth ministry profession to lead teens closer to Christ. The minister will work as part of a team approach to evangelization of youth and their families.

Primary responsibilities include Life Teen (grades 9-12), Confirmation preparation (grade 10), and Youth Ministry activities such as retreats, mission trips, XLT, social events, and our Discipleship Team peer ministry. The youth minister works under the supervision of the Director of Evangelization and in close collaboration with the Coordinator of Religious Education and the EDGE leader (grades 6-8). The ideal candidate will be able to express thoughts clearly both in writing and when speaking.

We are looking for a leader who is prayerful, organized, patient, and able to build relationships with teens, adult volunteers, and parish staff. Evening and weekend hours are part of this position. A bachelor's degree in religious studies, education, or a related field is preferred; experience in a youth ministry leadership role is required.

Submit cover letter to Joan Nelson at Joan.Nelson@StEdwardCh.org.
